10+ Web Resources to Make Web Designers Life Easy

First of all, I added a news section, so feel free to submit any interesting links, articles. Now, this article is another edition of my earlier post, about tools/resources web designer’s can/should use. I hope this sites helps you in your everyday work and project.

Even though from the name you might think the site is all about patterns, Patterrific offers more to offer than patterns. This site has lots of patterns,  photoshop brushes and more.  Everyone needs patterns for background on thier web sites. I also like the wooden design of the site. There is also a flickr user ‘s group where you can submit your patterns too.

This is blog that has lot of high quality icons, wallpapers, graphics and more. If you need some icons, or just spice up your desktop, this is the place to look for.

All the texture you will ever need. This website has lots of texture from different categories. Best part they are all free.

What are looking for ? Design blog, icons, ajax site, photoshop tutorial? This is the Google for web designers. Also, if you are looking to promote your site, you can also add your site too for a small fee.

Even though the name resembles to forwebdesingers , this site offers total different stuff.  This site offers a variety of PSD, Vectors, templates, falsh, templates and more. The download link can be hard to find between the  ads, but it is in the middle of the page.

Whatsitscolor

Ever wanted to find  what color is an image or what color a website is using? Whatsitscolor will help you with that.

Skycsstool

Sky CSS allows you to create CSS classes almost without using manuscript code. JavaScript compatible browser is needed for the proper functioning.

    I personally use Deploy* a lot at http://projectdeploy.org It makes my life a little easier since I’m not super quick at setting up a base site yet and never can remember the syntax of DOCTYPES and CSS links etc. Perfect for a web designer. I guess 1.4 is coming out soon also and has more features. I’ve been waiting awhile!
