What is Lomo ?

Lomo is considered to be a technique/style of photography that produces deep saturation and vignettes images. Here is how wikipedia states:

Lomography emphasizes casual, snapshot photography. Characteristics such as over-saturated colors, off-kilter exposure, blurring, “happy accidents,” and alternative film processing are often considered part of the “Lomographic Technique. Credit

Do not confuse lomo technique with lomography. Some photographers will often disregard digitally produced lomo photographs  because they do not carry the  aesthetic of “real” film lomos.
