Dropbox is everyone’s favorite cloud file storing and sharing app. It is really useful and well known because it syncs your files online and across your computers automatically. Dropbox also integrates seamlessly with different OS. Therefore, even a beginner user find it easy to use. Here are some useful tips and tricks to make the most of Dropbox as a designer and blogger.
Sharing Your Work (Screenshots, Layouts)

As designer, we are always in need to share our work such as: PSD, mock-ups with clients, co-workers, teams. With dropbox, it is really easy to share anything with anybody because of the way it works. You just simple copy whatever file you want to share to your public folder and send the link anyone. Moreover, they do not even have to be a Dropbox user. There is no going on the web, logging on every time you want to share a file. Dropbox also allows you to share a whole folder. You can go to Select Dropbox > Share This Folder…. This will send you to the sharing page on the Dropbox website, where you can enter the email of the recipient.

Storing Materials for Blog Post

This tip applies if your a blogger and you always need some files . Let me explain this is in detail. I have a folder called Post in my Dropbox. I have couple of files in there such as : a post thumbnail template, guest post requirement and more. I am not always on home computer but I need to publish a new post from work computer or a different location. However, it does not matter where I am, I still have a quick access to these files I use almost use everyday and they are always updated, regardless of the location.
